Strategic Direction

MassChallenge is building a connected global network that backs the boldest founders. They position themselves as the earliest believer in founders tackling complex, regulated, and high-stakes problems, and they focus on five areas: Healthcare and Life Sciences, Security and Resiliency, Sustainable Food Systems, Climate, and Global Financial Systems. They support founders through early-stage programs, mid-to-late-stage Challenge Programs, and mentorship initiatives.

Who They Are

MassChallenge is a nonprofit accelerator founded in Massachusetts in 2009. They give startups infrastructure, access to experts, and catalytic capital to scale. Since 2009 they have supported 5,000+ startups, which have raised $16B+ and created about 90,000 jobs, working alongside 500+ partners worldwide. MassChallenge Texas is their Texas presence.
