About this framework
Purpose of the Nonprofit Assessment Framework
This is a standardized scoring rubric that funders use to evaluate nonprofit organizations consistently and defensibly.
What it does
It turns subjective "does this organization deserve support?" judgment calls into a structured, repeatable 100-point evaluation across six dimensions:
- Mission Integrity & Community Rootedness
- Program Depth & Beneficiary Outcomes
- Financial Health & Long-Term Sustainability
- Governance, Accountability & Leadership Health
- Community Trust, Equity & Beneficiary Voice
- Organizational Resilience & Staff Wellbeing
Why it's useful
- Consistency — Every organization gets evaluated the same way, so a young grassroots group and an established legacy nonprofit are compared on the same rubric, not gut feel.
- Forces rigor — The sub-dimension notes prompt evaluators to actually verify specifics (revenue diversification, board composition, beneficiary follow-through) rather than rely on impressions.
- Community-centered — Unlike frameworks built around growth or scale, this one explicitly centers community trust and beneficiary voice as the core measure of legitimacy, not just financial or operational metrics.
- Audit trail — The signal flags and recommendation section create a written record of why a funding decision was made, useful for board reporting and re-evaluation cycles.
- Actionable output — The score maps directly to a recommendation (Pass / Capacity Grant / Conditional / Fund), so the framework produces a decision, not just a number.
- Adaptable — The framework is meant to be tailored per funder's focus area and priorities.
About TokenRoster
Vision
Every founder deserves to be judged by what they're building, not by whether they can get into the right room. We want a market where good companies get seen and funded regardless of geography, pedigree, or connections.
Strategic Direction
Start by making startups readable to investors through objective AI assessment, then build outward into the full stack a company needs as it grows — matching, legal, and equity — turning a one-time report into the place founders run their company from.
Mission
Replace the warm intro and the polished deck with a structured, trustworthy assessment that any founder can generate for free — so the barrier to being taken seriously by capital drops to zero.
